What is Governance and what does this mean to our Band?
Governance is the establishment of policies, and continuous monitoring of their proper implementation, by the members of the governing body of an organisation.
Governance within a Brass Band relates to the overall management and running of your Band. This is usually led by a committee, and also includes all rules and regulations documents the band use, such as your Constitution.
